Whether for hunting, practicing marksmanship, or defending our families and freedoms, firearms have been a part of life. Growing up in Arkansas, local gunsmiths were not readily available, which meant we had to learn how to disassemble, inspect, and repair firearms of different types, although not everyone possessed these skills or understood the basics. These skills were honed and broadened throughout 26 years of military service, which included working on and employing weapon systems, and managing armories.
In the Fall of 2018, we opened United Small Arms in Milton, Florida after learning that many local and national gunsmiths either still didn’t exist or had closed their businesses, leaving a large demand in the industry. This demand also including specialized skills repairing and restoring early model firearms that have been passed on through generations. We appreciate not just the solid American craftsmanship built into these antique guns, but the personal connection owners have to them as heirlooms.
It is an art form to bring these older arms back to life and we respect an owner’s gun as his or her pride and joy. Although United Small Arms started out with a focus on specializing on antique weapons, we have expanded our services to more modern firearms because they represent the new era in American craftsmanship.
We take pride in our work at United Small Arms, and we will always go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. A gunsmith shop is only as good as its reputation, which means we do not compromise our integrity by lowering our standards or working hastily. United Small Arms will work relentlessly and diligently to earn your trust, your friendship, and your business for years to come.
